- WAEMU
- CENTIF-CI
- GIABA
- Law No. 2013-450
One platform, the whole compliance lifecycle
From the first document to the final decision, every regulatory check is automated, explained and traced.
Decision in minutes
Capture, dual-engine extraction, fraud checks and AML screening chain automatically - your officers decide in minutes, not days.
Provable compliance
Aligned with the BCEAO 2025 instructions and CENTIF, with a tamper-evident audit trail and readable reasoning behind every decision.
On your turf, in French
Optional on-premise deployment, strict per-bank isolation, and a platform built natively for French and the WAEMU region.
Three verticals, one platform
Individuals, businesses and fleets - the same AI, audit and compliance core for each.
Individual verification
Customer onboarding, from capture to decision.
- Dual-engine OCR extraction - a third arbitrates on disagreement - and MRZ reading with a visual cross-check
- ID ↔ selfie face matching and web liveness via signed challenge-response, no app to install
- Ivorian documents supported: national ID, passport, driving licence, resident permit, CNAM, proof of address
- Document authentication: tampering, recompression, perceptual duplicates
Advanced mobile-SDK capture available: auto-capture, device attestation, NFC reading.
Business verification
Company onboarding and beneficial owners.
- RCCM extraction and cross-checks against the CEPICI registry and the Commercial Court
- Directors, shareholders and ultimate beneficial owners (UBO) - ownership chain verified
- Automatic KYC of signatories and AML screening of beneficial owners
- Filed RCCM compared to the official registry: forgery discrepancies are detected and surfaced to the analyst
Detects legal-form mismatches (e.g. registry SARL vs. declared SAS).
Driver & courier onboarding
For ride-hailing, delivery and shared fleets.
- Driver (car) and courier (motorbike) onboarding: OCR of the licence, registration, roadworthiness test and insurance
- Plate / serial-number cross-check across registration, roadworthiness test and insurance
- Photo of the vehicle compared to the registration (plate, make, model)
- Shared vehicles (M:N), a real-time eligibility API and renewal reminders at 30 / 7 / 1 days
“Can this driver work right now?” - one call, with a stable reason code.
Sanctions and PEP screening, refreshed every day
Built into every KYC and KYB verification, with smart false-positive reduction.
Every individual and every beneficial owner is screened against official sanctions lists and politically exposed persons.
- Automatic daily refresh of the lists
- Detection of politically exposed persons (PEP), their relatives and close associates
- Two-sided discriminators: a namesake whose date of birth, nationality or gender contradicts the listing is flagged “likely false positive” and removed from the score - never silently cleared
- Per-bank watchlists and whitelists
Official sources
Screening covers sanctions and PEP. Transaction monitoring and CENTIF/STR filing are available as options.

From capture to decision, in minutes
A single pipeline orchestrates every regulatory check, automatically.
- 1

- 2

Two AI engines independently extract every field; a third arbitrates on disagreement.
- 3
Fraud & AML checks
Document authenticity, liveness, face match, then sanctions and PEP screening.
- 4
Decision & review
The officer sees the AI reasoning and approves, rejects or requests more - all traced.
Every access and every decision is recorded in a tamper-evident audit trail.

Frequently asked questions
The essentials on Verita and its fit for your institution.
Is Verita compliant with BCEAO requirements?
The platform is designed and audited against BCEAO Instructions No. 001-03-2025 and No. 003-03-2025, GIABA/FATF recommendations and Ivorian Law No. 2013-450. Verita provides the tooling; ultimate regulatory responsibility remains with the institution.
Do you support KYB (businesses) as well as KYC?
Yes. Verita covers end-to-end business onboarding: RCCM, directors, shareholders and beneficial-owner identification, with cross-checks against the CEPICI registry and the Commercial Court.
Do you handle driver and fleet onboarding?
Yes. The Fleet vertical covers driver and courier onboarding: OCR of the licence, registration, roadworthiness test and insurance, plate / serial-number cross-checks, shared vehicles and a real-time eligibility API with renewal reminders.
Can data stay inside our own infrastructure?
Yes. An on-premise deployment is available: documents and personal data never leave your perimeter.
How is data protected?
AES-256 encryption of personal data at rest, a tamper-evident hash-chained audit trail, strict per-bank isolation (RLS), role-based access control (RBAC) and optional two-factor authentication.
Does the solution work in French?
French is handled natively: document extraction, the officer interface and terminology favour francophone sources and WAEMU-region terminology.
Which countries is Verita available in?
Verita is built in Abidjan for Côte d’Ivoire, where every document and KYB are supported. The national ID card and passport are also read for Senegal, Burkina Faso, Mali, Guinea, Togo, Benin, Niger and Ghana, and passports from every country. Each country has its own page.
How long does a verification take?
The pipeline automates capture, extraction, fraud checks and AML screening; most cases are ready for a decision in minutes rather than days.
