The AML/CFT framework in Guinea
Guinea is not part of the WAEMU: it has its own central bank, the BCRG, and its own currency, the Guinean franc. Law L/2021/024/AN of 17 August 2021 sets the anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing obligations and creates the CENTIF, placed with the BCRG. The country is a member of GIABA and OHADA; it was not under FATF increased monitoring after the June 2026 plenary.
What is set up in a pilot
Verita is built for the BCEAO framework. For Guinea, the national rules and the FIU’s report format are set up with your compliance team in a pilot.
Personal data
Law L/2016/037/AN of 28 July 2016 on cybersecurity and personal data protection governs the processing of personal data in Guinea; face photos and identity documents are part of it. Verita can be installed on your own servers so that this data stays inside your perimeter, and every access is logged in the audit trail.

Can Verita be installed on our own servers?
