Acceptance
By accessing the Verita website or using the verification service, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
Verita provides KYC and KYB identity-verification technology to banks and financial institutions. The service captures and analyses identity documents and biometric data and shares the result with the institution so it can decide on an application.
Acceptable use
Users must provide genuine, accurate information and submit only their own identity document and biometrics. Submitting forged, altered or another person’s documents is prohibited and may be reported to the relevant authorities. The service must not be used unlawfully or to interfere with its operation or security.
Verification and anti-fraud captures
To confirm a real, present person and prevent fraud, the check may record a liveness video and additional anti-spoofing frames (flash-pair, dual-camera and a wide-context frame of the surroundings) and read device and sensor signals. These captures are used only for verification and fraud prevention.
Decisions
The final decision to approve, review or reject an application is made by the institution, not by Verita. Verita provides the verification tooling and the supporting analysis.
Intellectual property
The Verita platform, website and their content are protected by intellectual-property rights and may not be copied, modified or redistributed without authorisation.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as is. We work to keep it available and accurate but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, Verita is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable law.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new update date.
Governing law and contact
