The policyholder

The person making the claim goes through the same KYC journey as a bank customer: identity document, face match, liveness and AML/CFT screening.

The vehicle and the damage

  • The policyholder photographs the vehicle from five angles on their phone.
  • An advisory damage report and a repair-cost estimate computed on your company’s price list.
  • The plate, make and model seen in the photos are compared with the vehicle registration: differences are flagged.
  • Optional: photo integrity, provenance and duplicate checks, recorded for the claims handler.

The claims handler decides

Verita does not settle a claim in place of your team: it gathers the evidence, flags inconsistencies and records every decision in the audit trail.

Which price list is the estimate based on?

Your company’s own price list, which you configure.

Which photos does the policyholder take?

The vehicle from five angles, guided on their phone, in addition to their documents.
